Want to buy fireworks in the Phoenix area?
What you can get.
If you've been dying to buy sparklers, snakes, glow worms, smoke bombs, and ground spinners in the Phoenix area, your day is coming. On December 1, 2010 a new fireworks law will go into effect allowing you to buy these fireworks. When the time comes, we hope to have a list of places where you can buy fireworks in Phoenix, along with locations and hours. In many states, the Fourth of July and New Year's are the preferred times to use fireworks, but you may be able to get them for year round festivities including birthdays and other events where a sparkler provides the right level of entertainment.
Notes and Special Information
Special note: Some localities have banned fireworks within their city limits so you may need to find areas outside the town line to buy fireworks, and you should not use them where they are prohibited. Also, you can't buy bottle rockets, firecrackers, or any other truly fun fireworks in the Phoenix area, but they have some pretty good stuff in New Mexico.
